I had the great pleasure of working with Jan at Salem County Vo Tech about 15 years ago. She was one of the most genuine and real human beings I have ever known. She loved her children dearly and she was the most caring teacher....always concerned with the unique needs of all her students. She will be dearly missed by so many. My deepest sympathy to her family.

I am so sorry to hear of Janis' passing. She was the first teacher I hired at Pennsville, and it was a real pleasure to have known her. She was a wonderful, compassionate teacher who always raised the bar for her students. I will miss her greatly as will the education community. My sincere sympathy for our loss.

Jan was one of the few people we can really say, enriched the lives of the people she touched. Her passing makes the world a little less happy.
